iQFOiL World Championship
The London 2012 Weymouth–Portland Olympic sailing venue, set on England’s south coast, will provide a world-class arena for the 2026 iQFOiL World Championships. Sheltered by the Isle of Portland and open to the English Channel, the race area is renowned for its reliable late-summer south-westerly sea breezes, often enhanced by thermal effects over the land.
2027 World Sailing Championship
Managed by World Sailing, the 2027 World Sailing Championship in Fortaleza, Brazil is a crucial milestone in the Olympic cycle. It will be the first opportunity for nations to qualify their country for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Racing will take place in the 6 single handed classes - men’s and women’s windsurfing, kite and ILCA dinghy.
Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofia
Held every spring in the Bay of Palma, the Trofeo Princesa Sofia is Europe's most prestigious Olympic Classes Regatta and part of World Sailing's Grand Slam Series. It draws over a thousand world-class sailors across all the Olympic sailing classes to officially kick off the European racing season. Emma won here in 2023 and again in 2025, where she also won the overall trophy as the top Olympic sailor, the 1st British woman to do this in the event’s history.
Semaine Olympique Francaise
Hyeres, located on the southern coast of France is the spectacular venue for French Olympic Week. It is another part of World Sailing's Grand Slam Series of regattas created to attract the world's top olympic sailors. Conditions at this time of year can vary from a sublime sea breeze to an extreme Mistral storm that will challenge even the very best. Winning here is a highly prized accolade.
Long Beach Olympic Classes Regatta 2026
The Long Beach Olympic Classes Regatta is set at the 2028 Olympic sailing venue for the Board events (Windsurfing iQFOiLS and Formula Kites). The venue is known for its consistent westerly breezes and has a long history of holding national and world regattas.
26’ IQ Foil European championships
Portimão, Portugal, will welcome Europe’s top windsurfers for the iQFOiL European Championship. Hosted by Clube Naval de Portimão, this premier venue is renowned for its consistent Atlantic winds, rolling swells, and tactical racing conditions that challenge even the most experienced competitors.
